Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 KJV
It is Holy Week. We hope that you got a chance to listen to the song “Hosanna” leading up this past Palm Sunday. It is a beautiful song of praise to lead us into Palm Sunday. On this Good Friday and through Easter Sunday, we will end Holy Week with celebrations and remembrance of Jesus ‘life, death, and resurrection!
We are reminded that there is no greater love than to lay down your life for a friend. Jesus gave His life for us on the cross. He bore our sins so that we could be set free from the bondage of sin. All who believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and was resurrected shall have eternal life. The celebrations this week are to remember, but also to give life to those who need Him.
There is no greater love than Jesus’ sacrifice for mankind. If you have never accepted Jesus’ love for you, let him know right now that you believe in His death and resurrection and that you want forgiveness for your wrongdoings (sin).
If you prayed this prayer, He heard you! He hears everyone who believes. Please let us know if you accepted Jesus as your Savior. We will help you find a good church home in your community. You will want the support of other Christians.
However, if have already accepted Jesus’ salvation but have somehow strayed away from your faith, God’s love never left you! Come on home and be in fellowship with other believers. No Greater Love!
Our Prayer: Jesus, we thank you for your sacrifice. We rejoice in your resurrection. Help us be the light for all who are lost to see and come to know you. Amen.
He is risen!
