Do You Know?

Do you know?
Listen

“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”(Psalms 46:10).
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.” The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah.” Psalms 46:10-11 NASB

The question is “Do you Know?” God’s command was, “Be still and know that I am God!” (Psalm 46:10). Do you know how big God is and what it means for your life? Jeannie Cunnion refers to this scripture in “Mom Set Free.” She hears God saying “Enough, my dear daughter of trying to be enough. Know that I, not you, am God. And I am good at being God.” Every day she reminds herself that God is enough.

God is enough. God is enough and our question is do you know it? The beginning verse of Psalms 46 said “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” (Psalms 46:1 NLT) Do you know that no matter what happens in life that you can stop trying so hard, be still and see God in the situation. God is our strength. God is our refuge. The world is changing but God is with us. See him when the kids are acting up. When the money is low see Him. See Him when thousands of people around you are suffering and so many have died. Even see God on your best days. He is your strength and refuge regardless of what is happening in the world. Remind yourself every day that God is enough.
