Church and Corona?

Church and Corona
Listen

Good Day HeartVision Family,

This Friday is Good Friday. Good Friday is part of our Resurrection Celebration in our Christian Faith. We usually gather together for a beautiful commemorative church service. In light of the spread of corona virus, and some religious exemptions, we as Christians have a responsibility to STAY HOME! We can pray at home. We can worship, sing and thank our Lord Jesus at home because He is always with us.

This is a time when we lean on our faith knowing that we are the body of Christ and that the Holy Spirit lives within us. We as one body need to share the Hope of Christ to the world and be an eternal light in these dark times. Remember, “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:4, 6 NIV.

We share hope by helping the world in its time of need. Share physical food to those who are hungry from a distance, right along with the spiritual stories of how God provides. Share how Jesus died and resurrected from the grave. How we have hope that goes beyond this life to eternity. We can unite in spreading the Gospel of Jesus one to one. Yes, pick up the telephone, FaceTime or video chat with friends and family. Don’t go visit or sit in church! Be wise! Be Safe! Wash your hands! Let’s  do our part and help limit the spread of the Corona virus. Let the presence of the Lord fill that empty void that can set in with social distancing. And above all, know that Jesus is with you.

Remember Jesus’ promise:

“If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John 14:15-21 NLT.

What a great time to let everyone know that Jesus is risen and is always with you!
