The New Year is always a time to make resolutions and start anew. We see in the book of Hebrews encouragement for the New Year.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” Hebrews 12:1 NLT
Tony Evans study on Hebrews encourages us to keep moving even if we feel like we have “hit a wall.” So, regardless of how you might feel today or throughout the year remember to keep your eyes on Jesus. He endured the cross and ran the race set before him. He is our supreme example of endurance to finish the race. Jesus is our encouragement in this and every new year.
Have a blessed day!
We love you.
