Life Changers

life changers
Listen

When we were in college, one of our mentors was Mrs. Smith who ran the Campus Lutheran House. She changed our lives. She was instrumental in two key events in my life: Meeting my future spouse, and meeting my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will never be the same, and I don’t know what my life would look like without her influence.

Mrs. Smith set the bar high for us who met her, and were guided by her love. We spoke with her recently, and had a chance to thank her. Perhaps our greatest achievement in life will be to follow her example and mentor those young people around us.

Even if this goal is not easy the scripture gives us encouragement: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you know anyone around you that needs some guidance or encouragement and God’s love? Will you be like Mrs. Smith and impact their lives today?

We love you,

The Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.”
