God Will Provide
Listen

In times like these, it is easy to get discouraged. But it is important to remember all that God has done in your life, and for your family and friends.

We see in the story of David and Goliath, that David faced the adversity of the giant by reminding himself of how God had delivered him in the past. “The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!” Saul finally consented. “All right, go ahead,” he said. “And may the Lord be with you!”1 Samuel‬ ‭17:37‬ ‭NLT‬‬.

David knew who he was in the Lord, so when trouble came he could respond in faith. Most of us are not “SuperStars” of faith. How can we learn to live a life of encouragement like David?

Let’s look at Gideon, who was just starting out in faith. Unlike David, Gideon never saw himself as a warrior like David, so God had to establish Himself with Gideon. This is why God had to take away almost all of Gideon’s army, so that Gideon would rely on Him. “The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.” ‭‭Judges‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬.

Gideon had to learn to trust who he was in the Lord. Likewise, we have to learn who we are in the Lord. Trust God now with everything you are going through. God is bigger than your situation, and He will do things you never thought possible.

Trust Him!

Stay encouraged
