On Valentine’s Day there is a lot of emphasis on love spread around. It’s a day that like the holidays can bring good memories for some and sad memories for others. There is a lot of focus on receiving flowers, cards, chocolates and gifts and very little on giving. So, this year won’t you do it a bit different and spend the day expressing your love to God? Then, go out and spread some love to your neighbor. As Jesus said
“Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:28-31 NLT.
