We Can Depend on God’s Faithfulness

We Can Depend on God’s Faithfulness
Listen

One of the unexpected outcomes of the pandemic has been that we have been reminded of the faithfulness of the all of brave and dedicated people who work daily to keep us healthy and safe. Many of them have themselves become sick due to exposure to the COVID virus.

We pray for our Doctors, Nurses, First Responders, Police, and all those working in hospitals daily, for their protection and God’s wisdom as they serve.

We are also reminded of God’s faithfulness. We don’t always understand the “Why” but we definitely understand and appreciate that God is watching over us to protect us and guide us. I have noticed in my personal life that God responds to faithfulness by keeping us encouraged.

Everyday God sends me little love notes to let me know He is right there. God also inspires others to encourage us. Recently, a total stranger came up to me and paid for my lunch when I forgot my wallet. I said thank you, and I told him I would pay him back, but he told me to “Pay it forward” to someone else.

Let us continue to encourage one another, show love to one another, and most especially forgive one another.

Right now there are a lot of people who feel anger. But there is only one way to break the cycle of anger, and that is to demonstrate Love. Just as God loved us, and sent Jesus to die for us, we must show love to each other.

As the Apostle Paul commended his brothers and sisters in the book of Romans: Romans 1:8 (KJV) “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.”
