Jesus Really Loves Us

Jesus Really Loves Us
Listen

There is a children’s song we all know: “Jesus loves me this I know…Yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me, for the Bible tells me so”. These are very true words. Jesus loves us very much. He went to the cross and died, and rose again for our sins. Now we can be free from sin, and the guilt of sin.

The Apostle Paul drew an illustration for us of our sin and our guilt attached to us like a dead body. But he points out that Jesus freed us from this body of sin and guilt. Romans 7:24 (NIV) “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?”

This is the only path to true freedom. We cannot escape sin without Jesus. Sometimes we try to use blame. We blame ourselves for our sin and our mistakes. We blame others for their mistakes. But this approach only brings more guilt and more blame.

Jesus freed us! Accept His gift of freedom. Raymond Myles, one of my favorite Gospel artists, gave us these words: “If you only trust Him, He will your Savior be. Turn it over to Jesus, He will be right there” https://youtu.be/-TnLkN4BkHM

Our Savior is waiting. You can receive your freedom by accepting Jesus as your Savior. He will be right there! Romans 10:9 (NIV) “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

We love you,
