The Christian does not think God will Love us because we are good,
but that God will make us good because He loves us.” – C. S. Lewis
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NLT
We are guaranteed Love by God Himself no matter what you have done, or how you think of yourself, because God loved us first. He loved us while we were still messed up and in sin. God sent his son Jesus to be a sacrifice for us. Now, we can experience the greatest love of all time, and we don’t even have to get ready. Jesus accepts us just as we are today. When we accept Jesus’ death and resurrection, then we connect to the greatest Love of all, and He becomes our Savior. Once connected, we can ask God to help us with our purpose in this life. He can fill the holes even the ones we did not realize needed filling.
Believe in Jesus’s death and resurrection, believe that God sent his Son to take on the sins of the world and to connect all people who believe back to Himself. Take a moment to think on how much God loves us. Ask for his forgiveness and believe on what Jesus did for us. Become a part of God’s family right now. Experience the Love of Jesus. You may come to the same conclusion as C.S. Lewis, “The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us.” Remember, we are guaranteed Love in Jesus.
