Finding your Truth

Finding your truth
Listen
God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel. It cuts through everything, whether doubt or defense, and lays us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.” Hebrews 4:12-13 MSG

Do you know your truth? Each of us is on a journey to find the truth in our lives. We are bombarded daily with falsehoods that leave us shaking our heads. But, the truth is always with us. The word of God leads us to the truth. It cuts through lies, selflessness and all manor of craziness leaving us with what is real. It keeps us focused on the good in life and  gives us everlasting hope. The word is the standard by which we live our lives.

Jesus said, “I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him. You’ve even seen him.” John 14:6-7 MSG.

As you take time to plan your day seek Jesus to lead you. Nothing will be left in your life but the Truth and Life. If you want to keep life real, “Take Jesus with you.” There are some days that just start off wrong and don’t make sense.  When that happens, take a minute, stop, pray, read your Bible  get some clarity. It’s OK to restart. Remember each day that Jesus takes every step with his children. We don’t know everything but the Pure Truth has been revealed in Jesus.
