Blessed New Year’s From HeartVision Church

Listen

This past year has been full of challenges, but also full of God’s blessings. Even as we write this New Year’s greeting, we remember how far God has brought us, and we are grateful. We were recently watching the 32nd Annual Stellar Awards which honored singer Spencer Taylor who is the longtime lead singer of the Highway QC’s Quartet, with the Rev. James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement award.

When he accepted the award, he started off by thanking God, and acknowledging that: “God has allowed me to go all over the earth.” This is a testimony that inspires us, and gives us hope for the new year because God can bless us too just like He did Mr. Taylor.

We pray for your safety this New Year, show love and forgiveness to those around you, gratefulness for your family, and most of all let us remain thankful to God for His many blessings.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We Need Prayer and Fasting to Confront Evil

This blog is inspired by my wife Pastor June R. McIntosh, who preached a sermon this weekend to our congregation about “Why Faith?”. In the new year, we are going to examine different aspects of “Why Faith”.This is not a study questioning faith, but seeking to understand it in our lives.

The Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.”
