The Sacrifice for Freedom

The Sacrifice for Freedom
Listen

I recently met a new friend that served two tours in Vietnam, as an Army medic, and received the Silver Star which is this nation’s third highest Military honor. He understood that freedom sometimes requires us to sacrifice our lives.

Jesus also paid a sacrifice for our freedom from sin. Jesus paid the price for us.” So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews‬ ‭9:28‭NIV

What Jesus did on the cross was paid the debt for sin for all of us. This means if we look to Him our sins are forgiven.
