At Christmas, we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. If we look beyond the commercialism, we will see graciousness, generosity and love all over the world. We can see love in the eyes of children, or when we stop to look at Christmas scenes. We sing, we sing, and we sing of the glorious child who was born to save the world from sin, and reconcile us back to Him. We see in Matthew 1:21 (NIV)
“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.””
But there are many who only know Santa. So this Christmas, we remember to give the greatest gift of all, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can let everyone know that they too can have this Joy we have by simply asking Jesus for forgiveness of their sins. If we ask Him, He will come into our hearts.
We can sing the hymn “Let Heaven, let Heaven let Heaven and Nature sing!“. Trusting God will not cost you anything. Won’t you trust Him with your life this Christmas?
