How Do You View the Word?

How Do You View the Word?
Listen

“Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God—which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.”  1 Thessalonians 2:13 (NLT)

Paul expresses thanks to God because the Thessalonians received the message as the Word of God and not mere humans. The Thessalonians were new Christian’s making Paul and his companions very joyful for their faith.

How is the Word of God challenged today? Ephesians 4:14-15 (NIV) “Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”

The Thessalonians kept on trusting God even through persecution. They became Paul’s pride and joy by maintaining their faith in the Lord, and receiving the word of God. We encourage you to stand steadfast in the Word of God, grow into maturity of God and know what you believe.

God Bless

We Need Prayer and Fasting to Confront Evil

The Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.”
