I’ve been reflecting on the past couple of months about all the trials and tribulations I have experienced. I find myself in a state of deep gratitude to God for giving me strength and grace to conquer the challenges. The Psalms have been my guiding light, providing solace and reminding me that the Lord hears our cries, provides protection, and fills our hearts with joy through His works.
Some verses that helped me in that season are Psalms 34:6 which assures us of divine mercy, stating, “This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” Similarly, Psalms 91:11 promises divine protection, saying, “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalms 92:4, on the other hand, fills our hearts with joy, expressing, “For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands, I sing for joy.”
James 5:13, encourages those in trouble to pray, and those in joy to sing praises. I’m filled with gratitude for the times when I was in trouble, I called on the name of Jesus, he answered and helped me.
So, whether you’re seeking divine intervention, in need of encouragement, or simply overflowing with gratitude like me, I invite you to sing praises. Remember, in times of trouble, the name of Jesus is our refuge call on Him.
With gratitude for all you
