Faithful with God’s Grace

Faithful with God's Grace
Listen

Continuing in our series on Faithful servants. This week we take a look at what it means to be faithful with God’s Grace…

God is looking for Spirit filled men to undertake His assignments. The scriptures show us that Stephen fit the bill Acts 6:5 “This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit; also Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism.”

Stephen would never be described as one who didn’t reach his potential in God. He reminds me of the “Parable of the Talents” Matthew 25:14-30, specifically the man who received five talents and brought five more. It can be said that Stephen never squandered his gifts/talents. Believe it or not, we all have gifts bestowed upon us by God’s grace. Our gifts vary. We know this from Romans 12:6-9. It is a sobering moment when you ask yourself: What am I doing with God’s grace?

Over time I have heard it said that upon death, no one takes a U-Haul with them. You may have leased a U-Haul before; you do not own the U-Haul. It is what’s inside the U-Haul that is unique to us. Next time you’re talking about U-Haul, think about it this way:

U
Have
A
Unique
Life

God wants you to use this U-Haul not just keep it, but remember that one day you’ll return it. What does it mean to you to be faithful with God’s grace?

Let us know in the comment section below.
