What a day to celebrate thankfulness! Thanksgiving is a day that we all can come together and express our appreciation for each other and all the blessings in our lives.

Life has many ups and downs that makes showing gratitude hard at times. But on Thanksgiving we stop and remember all that we are grateful for. Jesus admonished us to be grateful in all circumstances. “Rejoice always, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”1 Thessalonians 5:16, 18 NIV

If we could learn to give thanks in all circumstances our lives would be so much better. There’s a Hausa Proverb that says “Give thanks for a little, and you will find a lot.” As you give thanks this season may you find a lot to be grateful for.
